There are four training modules for your use. These are designed to be completed by any person, whether being new to the industry or having many years feed milling experience. The training units are easy to complete and include voice over sound.
The training modules have been upgraded in July 2018 so they now work on various search engines including Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Edge.
To access each training unit click on the underlined links below. Each unit includes assessment questions and on completion you can print a completion certificate. Note that there is no system of saving your training completion or certificate so ensure you have sufficient available time to complete each unit before commencing.
Additives and Medication
This training unit looks at what feed mills are required to do in handling and using feed additives and medications. The unit looks at what feed additives are, why they are used and safety in their use. This is a basic training unit and can be completed by any employee. Like the FeedSafe Overview training, it takes 25-30 minutes to complete and includes different scenarios and assessment. To access this training click the following link.
Feedmill Hygiene
This training unit looks at the required hygiene for feed mills operating under FeedSafe. This is a basic training unit and can be completed by any employee. Feedmill Safety
Safety in the feed mill is covered in this training unit. Safety is a significant part of feed milling and this unit will take you at least 30 minutes to complete. This is basic training that can be completed by new employees as well as those with a long working history in the feed industry. To access the training click on the following link.
