About the Event
“Plant breeding 101: Shortening the previously long road to producing better crop
varieties for food and feed.” Tress Walmsley, CEO, InterGrain.
Tress and the InterGrain team will explain the complex process of breeding new crop
varieties for food and feed and demonstrate how recent advances in technology have
significantly shortened the timeframe to market. The presentation will involve a tour of
InterGrain’s breeding and milling facility. CLOSED IN SHOES MUST BE WORN
